I'm honestly not sure what is going on here...I think the lower crane is actually dodging being kicked in the head...quite the contortionist.
Made a trip down to the Bosque del Apache over the weekend. Forgot that it meant I would be mostly sitting for 6+ hours. Unfortunately the clouds, sunset, and birds were generally uncooperative, so I only got about 5 decent shots for my efforts. Oh well, I still love going there.
I was already taking photos of these birds when they started fighting, so it was mostly by chance that I even got the shot. Pretty much the only good crane photo I got for the outing.
