This is the mushroom people's U-Haul truck. I had to take this picture because my first thought on seeing this was - waaaait a minute, you can't drive a U-Haul truck to Nunavut!

Then we went to this great bar "Rocket to Venus" in this great neighborhood Hampden and drank brilliant cucumbery drinks. This is my shitty photo of MizB taking a photo of our fruit and cheese plate.

Then we went back to her place and she made these delicious and refreshing watermelon and strawberry juice concoctions with fresh mint. We were hanging out in the back yard drinking them when suddenly we heard this swing jazz music, so we had to figure out where it was coming from. So we followed the music until we turned a corner and saw this - a swing band and some appreciative neighborhood folks who'd dragged chairs down the street to hear it.

Today I went up to Bawlamer to hang out with our own beloved MizB. We ate some brilliant food and hung out in the happening city.
For a different version of these events, see her blog!
Thanks MizB!
