Hey, a vulture beats a cormorant any day.

The vulture may in fact be disgruntled, a worse fate than being merely disconsolate.

I find it hard to have sympathy for vultures, whatever their emotional state.

Coincidently I kept seeing large groups (six) of black vultures (atleast I think they were vultures) in New Orleans near the swamp. Nver saw so many irl before and up so close! They're pretty in a Tim Burton kinda way huh?

Kate/Rez: Well, this was a specific very important cormorant that we were looking for, but in general I would agree. lmao @ JenPat. pffff @ megs. Thx Tulpje! gnd, I agree - I think they're really cool, and they seem so happy when they're soaring around.

Maybe it was a naughty vulture and was chastened by a very important vulture in its clan who showed him the error of his ways?

Laughing at the vulture comments but not at the vulture - he does look sad and I would never pick on a sad vulture.
